Instructions

Step 1ย :ย Preparation

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Step 2ย :ย Cooking the Salmon

Season the salmon with salt and black pepper. Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the salmon, skin side down, and cook for 4-5 minutes until the skin is crispy. Flip the salmon and cook for another 4-5 minutes until cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

Step 3ย :ย Preparing the Sauce

In the same skillet, heat another tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic, red pepper flakes, and fennel. Cook for 5-6 minutes until the fennel is tender. Add the lemon zest and juice, and cook for another 2 minutes. Remove from heat.
