Instructions
In a mixing bowl, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, sesame oil, and cornstarch dissolved in water. Mix well.
Add the chicken thighs to the marinade and toss to coat. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.
Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated chicken and cook for 6-8 minutes per side, or until cooked through. Remove from heat and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.
In the same skillet, add the broccoli and carrots. Cook for 3-4 minutes, or until slightly tender. Remove from heat.
Divide the cooked rice among 4 bowls. Top with sliced chicken, cooked vegetables, and sliced green onions. Garnish with sesame seeds.
Serve the teriyaki bowls immediately and enjoy!
