Instructions
Season the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper.
Dredge the chicken breasts in flour, shaking off any excess.
In a skillet, heat olive oil and butter over medium-high heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook for 4-5 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and transfer to a plate.
In the same skillet, add garlic and mushrooms. Cook for 5 minutes, or until the mushrooms are tender and golden brown.
Add Marsala wine and chicken stock to the skillet. Bring to a simmer and cook for 5 minutes, or until the liquid has reduced by half. Stir in heavy cream and season with salt and black pepper to taste.
Return the chicken breasts to the skillet and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, or until heated through. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
