3/2 lbs Chicken Thighs

1 cup Orange Juice
1/2 cup Soy Sauce

1/4 cup Brown Sugar
4 cloves Garlic

1 tbsp Ginger

2 tbsp Cornstarch
Notes:

dissolved in 2 tbsp water

2 stalks Green Onion

1 tsp Orange Zest
1 tbsp Sesame Seeds

Instructions

Step 1 : Preparation

In a mixing bowl, combine orange juice, soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, and orange zest.

Step 2 : Marinating

Place chicken thighs in the crockpot and pour the marinade over them. Make sure the chicken is coated evenly. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.

Step 3 : Cooking

Remove the chicken from the marinade and place it back in the crockpot. Cook on low heat for 4-6 hours or until the chicken is cooked through and tender.

Step 4 : Thickening the Sauce

In a small bowl, dissolve cornstarch in water. Stir the mixture into the crockpot with the chicken. Cook on high heat for an additional 30 minutes or until the sauce thickens.

Step 5 : Serving

Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds. Serve the crockpot orange chicken over rice or noodles.
