1 teaspoon Black Pepper

Instructions

Step 1 : Preparation

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

Step 2 : Prepare the Meatballs

Place the vegetarian meatballs on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes, or until heated through.

Step 3 : Prepare the Sandwich

In a saucepan, heat the marinara sauce over medium heat until warmed.

Step 4 : Assemble the Sandwich

Place a slice of bread on a cutting board. Top with 3 vegetarian meatballs, a spoonful of marinara sauce, and a sprinkle of mozzarella cheese. Repeat for the remaining slices of bread.

Step 5 : Cook the Sandwich

Heat a large skillet or griddle over medium heat. Drizzle olive oil and add minced garlic. Cook until garlic is fragrant, about 1 minute. Place the assembled sandwiches in the skillet and cook until the bread is toasted and the cheese is melted, about 3-4 minutes per side.

Remove the sandwiches from the skillet and garnish with grated Parmesan cheese and fresh basil leaves. Serve hot.
