8 slices Bacon

Instructions

Step 1 : Prepare Pie Crust

Preheat oven to 375°F. Place pie crust in a pie pan and set aside.

Step 2 : Cook Bacon and Onions

In a frying pan, cook bacon until crispy. Remove bacon and sauté onions in the bacon fat until translucent. Crumble the bacon and set aside.

Step 3 : Prepare Quiche Filling

In a mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, heavy cream, salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Stir in cooked bacon, onions, and grated Gruyere cheese.

Step 4 : Assemble and Bake

Pour the quiche filling into the prepared pie crust. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes or until the center is set and the top is golden brown.

Step 5 : Serve
