Instructions
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
Add onion, carrot, celery, and garlic to the skillet. Cook until vegetables are tender, about 5 minutes.
Stir in tomato paste, crushed tomatoes, vegetable broth, dried oregano, dried basil, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Bring to a simmer and cook for 10 minutes.
Add chopped walnuts and cooked lentils to the skillet. Cook for an additional 5 minutes.
Serve the walnut and lentil Bolognese over cooked spaghetti.
