1/2 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
1 teaspoon Coriander Powder
1 teaspoon Cumin Powder
1/2 teaspoon Red Chili Powder
Salt
2 tablespoons Oil
10 pieces Cashews

Instructions

Step 1 : Preparation

In a mixing bowl, combine the yogurt, garam masala, turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well to make a marinade.

Step 2 : Marinating the Chicken

Add the chicken thighs to the marinade and mix well to coat the chicken evenly. Cover the bowl and let the chicken marinate for at least 1 hour, or overnight in the refrigerator for best results.

Step 3 : Cooking the Chicken

Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add the chopped onions and cook until they turn golden brown.

Step 4 : Preparing the Sauce

Add the minced garlic and grated ginger to the pan. Cook for another 2 minutes.

Step 5 : Finishing the Dish

Add the marinated chicken to the pan and cook for about 10 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through. Add the soaked cashews and water to the pan. Stir well and cook for another 5 minutes. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves before serving.
