2 cloves Garlic


2 tbsp Tomato Paste
2 cups Tomato Sauce
1 cup Water
2 tsp White Sugar
1 tsp Dried Basil Leaves
1 tsp Italian Seasoning
1 tsp Salt
1 tsp Fennel Seed
1/2 tsp Black Pepper
15 oz Ricotta Cheese
1 Egg
1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese


2 cups Mozzarella Cheese


12 Lasagna Noodles

Step 1 : Preparation

In a large skillet, cook the ground beef, onion, and garlic over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.

Step 2 : Sauce

Add the tomato paste, tomato sauce, water, sugar, basil, Italian seasoning, salt, fennel seed, and black pepper to the skillet. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes.

Step 3 : Cheese Mixture

In a mixing bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, egg, and Parmesan cheese.

Step 4 : Layering

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Spread a thin layer of the meat sauce in the bottom of a 9x13-inch baking dish. Arrange 4 lasagna noodles on top.
