Instructions
Bring water to a boil.
Add linguine to the boiling water and cook for 6 minutes.
Snap off tough ends of asparagus.
Add asparagus to the pasta and water and cook for 2 minutes.
Drain the pasta and asparagus, reserving ¼ cup of the cooking liquid.
Cook the chicken in a grill pan coated with garlic-flavored cooking spray for 6 to 7 minutes on each side or until done. Cool the chicken slightly and cut it into strips.
Combine 1 tablespoon of olive oil, crushed red pepper, salt, ground black pepper, and minced garlic cloves in a small bowl.
Combine the cooked linguine, asparagus, olive oil mixture, sliced chicken, shredded Parmesan cheese, and reserved cooking liquid. Toss well.
Serve the chicken-asparagus pasta.
