Ingredients

Total: 8Serves: 4
1/4 cup water
1/4 cup white vinegar
1/4 cup soy sauce
garlic
pepper
3/2 lbs chicken parts
1 cup sliced mushrooms

5/2 T. corn starch

Instructions

Step 1 : 

Pour liquid ingredients into pot.

Step 2 : 

Add chicken to pot, as well as mushrooms, if desired. Sprinkle with garlic salt and pepper.

Step 3 : 

Bring to boil. Reduce heat to medium and cook in covered pot for 15 minutes.

Step 4 : 

Turn chicken parts in pot and continue to cook in covered pot over medium-low heat for 15 minutes more.

Step 5 : 

Remove chicken from pot and place in serving bowl, leaving liquids in pot.

Step 6 : 

Mix 1/2 cup water with corn starch. Add to liquid in pot and stir constantly over medium-high heat until thickened.

Step 7 : 

Pour sauce over chicken and serve with rice.
