2 cans cream of mushroom soup
1/4 c. sherry
1/4 c. dry white wine
1 c. sour cream
1/2 t. salt
1/8 t. pepper
1/8 t. garlic powder
16 large mushrooms

4 chicken breasts

Instructions

Step 1 : 

Season chicken with salt, pepper and garlic powder. Simmer chicken breasts in 1/2-inch of sauterne, covered for 40 minutes.

Step 2 : 

Arrange breasts in shallow casserole. Pour liquid from frying pan over chicken.

Step 3 : 

Mix mushroom soup, sour cream and mushrooms together. Pour sauce over chicken. Dot with butter and add paprika for color.

Step 4 : 

Place under broiler until bubbling and lightly browned.

Step 5 : 

Serve with rice.
