4 tbsp Butter

1 cup Chicken Stock

1 cup Heavy Cream

Instructions

Step 1 : Preparation

Season the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper.

Step 2 : Cooking

In a skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook for 6-8 minutes per side, or until cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

Step 3 : Cooking

In the same skillet, melt the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter. Add the sliced mushrooms and minced garlic. Cook for 5-7 minutes, or until the mushrooms are tender.

Step 4 : Cooking

Sprinkle the flour over the mushrooms and garlic. Stir well to coat the mushrooms.

Step 5 : Cooking

Slowly pour in the chicken stock, whisking constantly. Bring the mixture to a simmer and cook for 2-3 minutes, or until thickened.

Step 6 : Cooking

Stir in the heavy cream and return the chicken breasts to the skillet. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, or until heated through. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
